As the new year begins, there’s a new sense of excitement at Blackness Bay Distillery. A fresh calendar always brings new challenges, new ideas, and the chance to look ahead at what’s possible – and this year is shaping up to be a particularly special one for us.
One of the projects we’re most looking forward to is the refurbishment of the old village toilet block. While it may not sound glamorous at first glance, We’ll be tacking this well-worn part of the Blackness and give it a completely new lease of life. With careful planning and a bit of imagination, it will soon become something far more than it ever was before.
This transformation will allow us to introduce new aspects to the distillery, giving visitors an even deeper insight into Blackness Bay Distillery – its history, its character, and the process behind the spirit. These additions will help us tell our story in new ways and create a richer, more immersive experience.
Importantly, we want to take everyone on the journey with us, sharing the progress as it happens. We’ll be opening the doors a little wider and inviting you to see how the distillery continues to grow and evolve. The support, curiosity, and enthusiasm are a huge part of what drives us forward and we love hearing from you all.
Like all good distilling, progress takes patience, hard work, and a willingness to take on a challenge. We’re excited to get started, roll up our sleeves, and watch this next chapter unfold.
